POWAY, Calif. – With the help of Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft in his driver, the winner of the Mylan Classic shot a 7-under 64 in the final round to capture his first Web.com Tour win. After starting the day one shot back of the lead, he finished with a tournament-record 18-under 266 and a four shot victory.
The accuracy of Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft, featuring S-core Technology™, helped catapult the rookie to his first Tour win as he finished with a 93% driving accuracy rating on the final day. He completed the tournament tied for third overall in driving accuracy percentage.
“The VooDoo’s patent-pending S-core Technology™, or stabilized core, is designed to increase distance and provide outstanding accuracy with each swing,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The real “magic” is the high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft. The innovative rib structure keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing. VooDoo simply helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match.”
