Premium rental club program offers flexible rental club options from Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Callaway and Nike Golf
DANA POINT, Calif. – Monarch Beach Golf Links in recently introduced a new premium club rental amenity offering club rentals. Monarch Beach Golf Links and OB Sports (management company at OB Sports) created the concept that offers flexible choices and rental club offerings for their resort and daily fee guests. The club is now offering what has been coined “Flex Set” rental clubs featuring club from top manufactures such as Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, PING, and Nike Golf.
“We did not want to simply offer the same rental clubs for all of our guests, but wanted to give the guest a choice of clubs from different manufacturers,” stated Eric Lohman, General Manager at Monarch Beach Golf Links. “So no matter what brand/club you prefer, you can play with a set of clubs that suits your game. We have guests that can now replicate their set of clubs they have back home… or even provide a better set of clubs then what they might be playing with at home,” added Lohman.
Group and event guests are given the choice of what specific brand of clubs they wish to play with during the event and are offered based on the guest requests. In a truly unique fashion, individual guests have the option to mix and match specific clubs, irons, drivers and even putters to assemble a custom set for the day.
“We almost wanted to create what in essence was like a ‘sushi menu’ for club rental options. Whereby we offered our ‘Flex Sets’ to a guest who might want to play with a Taylor Made R11 driver, but have Titleist AP1 irons and an Odyssey putter. With our new Flex Set program, we could provide them with a set that meets those needs, creating a truly unique amenity and offering at Monarch Beach Golf Links,” stated Phil Green, Chief Operating Officer of OB Sports. Monarch Beach Golf Links Flex Set premium club rentals are available for $75 ($90 for Tour Sets) and include two sleeves of golf balls.
