New combined golf teaching system brings 3D motion capture and video analysis together
Brussels, Belgium and Trondheim, Norway, September 16th, 2012: Initial Force, makers of Swing Catalyst, and Guru Training Systems, makers of Swinguru Golf Pro, are demonstrating the integration of both software systems at the Golf Europe 2012 show in Augsburg, Germany. The partnership brings the unique 3D motion capture ability of Swinguru Golf Pro together with the highly advanced video analysis technology from Swing Catalyst, giving a full view of body and swing data to golf teachers and students.
Swing Catalyst is a comprehensive, powerful, and affordable software analysis package, praised by coaches around the world for its user friendliness. The software makes it very easy to record swings and incorporate the results into golf training and teaching. Swing Catalyst visualizes information in a simple and intuitive way that is easy to understand for both golf teachers and golf students.
Swinguru Golf Pro is a new way of teaching golf: using a standard 3D camera, the software can analyze a golf swing with precision, without requiring the user to wear any markers or special equipment. This allows the student to enjoy the full range of motion and brings an intuitive and interactive experience for 3D golf swing analysis that is both affordable and easy to use.
The combined product allows golf teachers and students to get the complete view of a swing, bringing together up to four cameras of video, launch monitor data, motion plate data, and 3D body movement information into a single, easy to use interface.
“Guru has always had a strong focus on bringing advanced technology within reach of golf teachers and student around the world through intuitive and easy to use products; a goal we share with Initial Force,” said Attila Borbath, VP Sales & Marketing at Guru Training Systems. “The combination of Swinguru Golf Pro and Swing Catalyst takes this philosophy to the next level and delivers the ideal tool for rapid game improvement.”
The companies are also announcing a new limited-time pricing offer on both products to coincide with the Golf Europe 2012 show in Augsburg Germany, September 16th-18th.
“The ability to compare data from multiple data sources into Swing Catalyst, brings an unparalleled experience to golf teaching,” said Tom Christian Lindvag, Marketing and Communication Manager at Initial Force. “With this new integration of Swinguru technology and bundle pricing, there has never been a better time to invest in a technology upgrade for a golf academy or golf training facility.”
