ATLANTA – After the success of the inaugural Certified Instructor seminars in the spring, U.S. Kids Golf has announced additional seminar sites for its Certified Instructor program, which began in the spring of 2012. These seminars educate PGA and LPGA Professionals on how to get the most out of their junior golf programs.
Over 170 instructors attended five seminars in the spring, learning and sharing best practices on how to grow their programs. Upcoming seminars will be held in Boston, New York, Indianapolis, Pinehurst, Phoenix, Orlando and South Florida.
“My junior program is getting rave reviews this year from both juniors and parents!” said Michael Doctor, PGA Master Professional at Skaneateles Country Club and a member of the PGA of America’s Board of Directors. “I’m having more fun teaching juniors than ever. Attending a U.S. Kids Golf seminar is the best thing I’ve done in years!”
U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructors will be recognized as experts in teaching and conducting quality junior golf programs. Each seminar will include indoor training in addition to outdoor sessions that feature hands-on learning and coaching of junior golfers. Certification will require follow-up online testing.
