A season filled with 5 PGA Tour Wins, the Senior British Open title, and back-to-back victories on the Japan Golf Tour was capped off at East Lake, with SuperStroke players earning over $28 million dollars in 2012.
SuperStroke grips were played by 20% of players at the Tour Championship with the 2012 Players Champion finishing T10 in Atlanta. Using a SuperStroke belly grip, the 4-time PGA Tour winner finished the event 2nd in strokes-gained (1.644). This was the Georgia Tech alumni’s 9th top 10 finish this season.
SuperStroke putter grips were also used on the LPGA Tour at the Navistar Classic with 2 players finishing in the top-25. Leading the way using a black UltraSlim for the first time was the University of Mississippi alumni, finishing T14. This was her best finish of the 2012 LPGA season and the $19,801 she won earned her exempt status for 2013.
Ryder Cup is up next and there will be plenty of SuperStroke grip representation on both the USA and Europe teams.
Total won in 2012 (to date): $28.2 Million
