Fourteen Golf Claims Two-Top Ten Finishes At The Web.com WNB Golf Classic

September 25, 2012

IRVINE, CA – September 24, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 46 worldwide professional tour victories since 2010, proudly announced that two Web.com Professionals played the company’s tour inspired utility irons to seal a tie for second and ninth place at the WNB Golf Classic in Midland, Texas.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “These professionals use our utility irons when they need the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. The golf course at Midland Country Club is long but there are eagle opportunities to be had so these easy to hit utility irons were put into play.”

These Tour specific utility irons played at the WNB Golf Classic guarantee that the accomplished player or golf professional will reach their intended target. Their uniquely shaped hollow structure produces the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. They look easy to hit and in fact they are. The meticulous research the FOURTEEN GOLF engineers conducted on the club head’s shape and positioning of the CG resulted in a utility iron that is controllable as well as stable. The deeper and lower CG allows the skilled golfer to select the smallest of targets and get it there with precision.

“Every week and on all tours we have professionals trusting in our utility irons. At the Ryder Cup both #3 and #4 utility irons will be played to control some of the tricky holes and conditions of Medinah,” added Kamoda.

The FOURTEEN GOLF utility irons feature a highly engineered sole design which allows them to set up beautifully on any type of lie. Its exclusive proprietary design promotes ease out of any rough as well as solid and accurate shots. In addition, these utility irons have a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain a traditional or typical iron appearance while still managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solid shots out of any rough.

“We encourage golfers to personally experience these tour inspired utility woods at an upcoming demo day. Any golfer who sees the distance and control they provide, they will understand why they professionals play them”, added Kamoda. A list of upcoming demo days can be found at the company website www.fourteengolf.com. Simply click on the Demo Day link.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed

Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
