New York, N.Y – Sports Talk Radio and TV Personality, Author, Philanthropist, Ann Liguori, will be hosting her 26th Annual Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic, to benefit cancer research, on Wednesday, May 29th, at Friar’s Head on Long Island.
The tournament will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in addition to a number of charities that focus on cancer research and cancer care.

Each participant will receive a Winston Leather Shoe Bag with the Friar’s Head logo embroidered on it, a copy of Ann’s new book, ‘Life on the Green, Lessons and Wisdom from Legends of Golf,’ (Hatherleigh Press); TaylorMade and Callaway balls and an assortment of other premium products. Participants will compete for prizes including Callaway Golf clubs and balls, TaylorMade clubs and balls, Tour Edge clubs, Dooney & Bourke luxury products and gift certificates to the Friar’s Head Golf Club pro shop.

Co-Founder, VertaCat, the all-terrain mobility rider for paralyzed and challenged golfers.

Liguori’s tournament has been held annually since 2008 at some of the top courses on the East End of Long Island including Friar’s Head, Maidstone, Sebonack, Atlantic, The Bridge, and Westhampton Country Club.
Liguori is a trailblazer in sports broadcasting as the first woman to host a call-in sport’s show on WFAN-NY; the first woman to host her own prime-time show on The Golf Channel; Owner, Host, Executive Producer, of the Sports Innerview cable series, an archives of over 500 interviews with top legends in sports; and author of ‘A Passion for Golf, Celebrity Musings About the Game,’ and the new ‘Life on the Green, Lessons and Wisdom from Legends of Golf.’ Liguori is also a Global Ambassador for IBKUL Athleisure wear. She will be inducted into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday, May 30.
