IRVINE, CA – September 26, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 46 worldwide professional tour victories since 2010, announced that the company had another successful weekend on the LPGA Tour. At the LPGA Navistar Classic three LPGA Professionals in the field used a FOURTEEN GOLF RM-11 Wedge to tie for third and eighth place.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “The Senator course at Golf Trails is difficult. There are close to 160 bunkers so we weren’t surprised to see so many LPGA Professionals playing the RM-11 Wedge and we’re delighted that three of these pros finished amongst the top ten.”
The RM-11 Wedges were used repeatedly to get out of the Scottish styled pot hole bunkers last week in Prattville, AL. The expanded USGA conforming trapezoidal grooves combined with a reverse muscle design allows the RM-11 Wedge to provide optimum spin off of any lie but particularly out of the sand.
The international LPGA Professional who tied for third at the Navistar has used the RM-11 Wedge all season and is ranked #3 in sand saves.
“Saving a par from the sand is critical and will keep any player in contention to win or at least finish strong,” added Kamoda.
The RM-11 Wedge receives a lot of endorsements on the LPGA, PGA, and Web.com Tours but amateurs also rely on its performance and it was recently tested by amateur golfers and the results were staggering.
