Innovative energy patch maker and national healthcare Humana subsidiary show their support
(October 1, 2012 – Coral Springs, FL) Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the charity that provides support to Fanconi anemia, wounded U.S. warriors and regional charities around the country through professional Tour golf experiences, has gained the support of two key sponsors for its annual fundraiser golf tournament in South Florida: Concentra and Spot on Energy.
Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is a national health care company focused on improving America’s health, one patient at a time. Through its affiliated clinicians, the company provides occupational medicine, urgent care, physical therapy, and wellness services from more than 330 medical centers in 40 states. In addition to these locations, Concentra serves employers by providing a broad range of health services and operating more than 270 worksite medical facilities.
Spot on Energy is the maker of an all natural energy patch that provides sustained energy throughout the day. This convenient energy option is free of calories, no sugar, no sodium, artificial sweeteners or preservatives, offering health conscious adults an effective energy product option. Spot on Energy patches are available in convenient, easy to use stick on patches, providing hours of healthy gradual energy that lasts. They also help to increase mental focus on and off the golf course.
The 6th Annual Liberty Mutual Invitational benefitting Caddy For A Cure will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at the TPC Eagle Trace Country Club in Coral Springs, FL. This annual event has proven to be one of the most exciting charity golf tournaments in the country. Liberty Mutual provides a fantastic array of gifts and prizes for the tournament participants, and Caddy For A Cure brings its experience in professional golf to deliver a first-rate event, complete with one-of-a-kind items from the PGA TOUR and its players. To top it off, this event is the only regional qualifier in the area to win a playing spot in the Liberty Mutual National Finals played at Pinehurst in March of 2013.
Caddy For A Cure CEO and program founder Russ Holden said “We are deeply humbled to have the support of these two amazing companies for our annual fundraiser event. It never ceases to amaze us how the game of golf seems to draw out people who care about helping others. Concentra CEO, Jim Greenwood and Spot on Energy CEO, Rob Trow, are two perfect examples of people who care. Not only are they good friends of Caddy For A Cure, they are unsurpassed in their desire to help make a difference through the causes we support.” Holden concluded, “We have worked very hard over the years to deliver a high quality, high integrity and high support program with everything we do through Caddy For A Cure and both Concentra and Spot on Energy parallel this standard perfectly.
