A Korean born player successfully defended his title at the CJ Invitational using a SuperStroke Fatso putter grip. Shooting a 15-under 269 in South Korea, the 8-time PGA Tour winner earned $118,875, later donating the entire thing to his own charitable foundation.
The SuperStroke Fatso measures 1.67″ in diameter, making it the largest non-tapered putter grip in the line-up. SuperStroke was able to get the original weight down to 85 grams, allowing the Fatso to have all the benefits of oversized grips without the extra weight.
The 2011 Players Champion’s victory marked SuperStroke’s 3rd win in Asia this year, giving them a total of 8 worldwide.
Total won in 2012 (to date): $28.4 Million
