MEMPHIS, Tenn. – True Temper Sports, the number one golf shaft manufacturer in the world, announced today that Vice President of Finance Joe Lyons has been named the company’s Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Lyons will oversee all financial operations globally for the company and be responsible for all internal and external reporting requirements.

Lyons has been with True Temper for seven years, serving most recently as vice president of finance directing all accounting and global finance activities for the company. Prior to joining the company, Lyons held positions at Gate Gourmet and Glimpso, LLC, following a six year career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a CPA and holds a bachelor and master degree in professional accountancy from Mississippi State University and a master of business administration from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
