DALLAS – Ramon J. Muñoz, a 25-year golf industry veteran, has joined the board of directors at Eagle Golf, announced company president and CEO Joe Munsch.
“Ray has a proven track record of success in the golf industry and we will rely on his knowledge base to support Eagle Golf’s position as a leader in golf facility management,” Munsch said. “We look forward to his counsel on how we can better operate as a company and service our customers.”
Muñoz’ career in golf business is highlighted by more than 20 years as division president of the Golf Finance Division at Textron Financial, where he was responsible for more than $5 billion in transactions. He also served as president of Textron Financial’s equipment finance division, overseeing the funding of its manufacturing products such as E-Z-Go golf carts and Jacobsen turf equipment.
During his tenure at Textron Financial, Muñoz was the president of Great Oaks Golf for three years where he positioned a portfolio of approximately 40 golf, hotel and marina projects for purchase.
“I am excited to join the board of Eagle Golf and work alongside Joe and his leadership team to support their vision to be the best possible golf course management company,” Muñoz said. “I believe this company is positioned for sustained growth and I look forward to playing a role in that.”
Muñoz is a former member of the Executive Round Table for the National Golf Course Owner’s Association (NGCOA) and a regular speaker at industry conferences such as Golf, Inc. and the annual NGCOA conference.
The Eagle Golf Board of Directors serves as the governing body for the company and all business affairs are managed at the direction of the board.
