IRVINE, CA – October 23, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 47 worldwide professional tour victories since the 2010 golf season, announced today that the company’s high performance new prototype wedges were played to tie for fourth place at the Frys.com Open.
FOURTEEN GOLF and their wedges are played by elite players on every professional Tour including the PGA, Web.com, LPGA Tours and many more.
This past season, the RM-11 Wedge has seized 62 Top-10 finishes on these respective tours and enjoys a tremendous following but the company continues to look toward the future. According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “We are very encouraged with the initial seeding of the new prototype. Not only was it used for a Top-5 finish but were in more staff bags at the Frys.com than we estimated.”
The new FOURTEEN GOLF prototype wedges, 50.12 and 58.06 were used to capture this professional’s best PGA Tour round and third Top-10 of the season. “The spin of the new prototype wedge creates optimal spin and control which helped this PGA Professional set up for multiple birdies throughout the event,” added Kamoda.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed
Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
