BALTIMORE, MD (November 2, 2012) – The Marathon of Miracles’ program Golf to End Cancer (G2EC) is scheduled to attend the 86th PGA Annual Meeting being held November 8 to 10, 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland.

“We are pleased that this year’s meeting is being held in our own backyard of Baltimore,” said A.J. Ali, co-founder of Marathon of Miracles (MOM). “The PGA was very kind to ask us to attend, and the organizers welcomed us with open arms. We hope to use our time at the meeting to foster relationships with others in our industry and provide many of the industry’s most influential PGA members an introduction to our wellness and cancer prevention mission.”

G2EC launched one year ago at the PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas as a way to promote the efforts of individuals and organizations in the golf industry to create a cancer-free world through its networking web site (www.golftoendcancer.com), corporate partnerships, and at Miracle Wellness Day events.

“Myself and the PGA of America are excited to have Golf To End Cancer join the PGA Annual Meeting this year in Baltimore, where the MOM organization has recently opened its’ first Miracle Wellness Center,” said Wendy Moecher, PGA Merchandising. “G2EC’s presence will surely offer another layer of education and opportunity to our members and guests, not only in our message of how to ‘grow the game of golf’ but also how to better improve our health and bodies as well as our communities, another attitude the PGA of America promotes through this great game.”

“This is a great honor to get in front of the PGA Hierarchy as well as many of the game’s most respected Golf Professionals with the opportunity to introduce Golf To End Cancer to many who may not be aware of the wonderful work we are doing to educate an industry about how your lifestyle can impact your chances of developing cancer over your lifetime”, said G2EC Executive Director Ed Woronicz. “Everyone needs to know about G2EC!”

In addition to displaying an information booth in the “Golf Shop” area, G2EC will have practitioners from the Baltimore Miracle Wellness Center offering free massages, reflexology, and cancer screenings to attendees at the Annual meeting.

“The close proximity of the meeting also gives us the opportunity to showcase our new wellness center,” said Ali. “We invite all PGA meeting spouses and guests to take advantage of the services offered at the Miracle Wellness Center.”

The Miracle Wellness Center, located minutes away from the meeting site, offers yoga lessons, zumba classes, massages and more.

“Cancer affects everyone. We all know someone who has gone through it, and we all want to put an end to this devastating illness in our lifetime. By joining together, we can make a huge impact in the world of golf,” said Ali.

“Networking events such as the PGA meeting are key to our grass roots effort. I urge all those in the golf industry to join our G2EC movement to help put an end to cancer,” ended Ali.
