Anaheim, CA-Matrix Shafts would like to congratulate the winner of the WGC-HSBC Champions who used a RADIX HD8, in his Cobra hybrid, to take his second WGC win on Sunday.
The RADIX is Latin for “base” or “root” and with the design of the “HD” technology, the RADIX is able to have the most advanced internal structure in its class. With its hexadecagonal (16-sided) internal platform, this “HD” Design gives the RADIX new levels of structural strength, without adding any weight. The result is a stronger “tip-strength-to-weight” ratio than with any previous Matrix shaft.
“It was a great win for this player on Sunday,” said Director of Tour Operations, Joe Miera. “This year we have seen the demand for our products on an international level increase significantly and when we have a big win like this overseas, it is always a great thing for our company.”
Matrix will introduce the next gen RADIX at the 2013 PGA Show in Orlando, this upcoming January.
