A great year just keeps getting better as SuperStroke grips were in the hands of multiple top finishers on both the PGA and European Tours. With a total of five top-10 finishes between the two tours, SuperStroke grip technology has been in high demand from the world’s best. Making its debut was the new Mid Slim 2.0 and it was in the hands of a T2 finisher on the PGA Tour’s final event.
Played at Lake Buena Vista, Florida, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic signals the last official PGA Tour event for the season. The SuperStroke brand was well represented with 20 grips in the hands of TOUR players, 3 finishing in the top-10. Leading the way was a University of Florida grad using the new Mid Slim 2.0. This grip was produced from continuous TOUR player feedback over the past year with players requesting a size between the Ultra Slim 1.0 and Slim 3.0 offerings. The result was a 1.20″ diameter grip weighing 52 grams.
The European Tour played the Barclays Singapore Open, hosted by Sentosa GC. SuperStroke grips were spotted on numerous putters, including 2 top-10 players. Earning his highest finish of the year was a native of Denmark, finishing 7th for the event. The three-time European Tour winner made the switch to SuperStroke this week and made his biggest paycheck of the 2012 season.
Initial feedback on the new Mid Slim 2.0 was very promising. Innovative thinking has SuperStroke Golf at the top of the jumbo putter grip market. The proof is another $1.5 million earned for TOUR players this week, putting the 2012 total over $32 million.
