YONEX Tour Player Bo-Mee Lee carded a final round 4-under par 68 to win the Japanese LPGA’s Ito En Ladies Tournament in a playoff for her second JLPGA victory of 2012 using the latest YONEX EZONE series line of clubs with YONEX REXIS NP Tour shafts.
Lee entered the final round tied for third place and two shots off the lead. She would go on to defeat Chie Arimura in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff.
Bo-Mee Lee showed great resilience as she battled back from a disapointing runner-up finsish to Rolex World No. 2 ranked Stacey Lewis one week prior at the LPGA’s Mizuno Classic.
En route to her second win of the season, Bo-Mee shot rounds of 69 (-3), 67 (-5) and 68 (-4) for a total score of 12-under par 204. This victory moved her to 10th on the JLPGA’s Money List with just two events remaining. This victory also moved Lee’s Rolex World Ranking up three spots from 37th to 34th.
Bo-Mee’s victory was the fourth victory on Tour for YONEX clubs in 2012. It also marked the second victory of the year for the YONEX REXIS NP Tour Shaft.
