Anaheim, CA- The highly anticipated OZIK X3 White Tie has officially launched at Matrix Shafts. Originally introduced on tour at The Byron Nelson earlier this year as a prototype, the OZIK X3 White Tie has since undergone further improvements to the cosmetic design and structure.
The OZIK X3 is the next generation XCON performing with the same high launching, low spinning characteristics. MATRIX took the design of the XCON and found a way to increase the stability and provide a tighter feel through the shaft in the OZIK X3, without having to increase the overall weight. The OZIK X3 also differs from the XCON by having a progressively linear graduation at impact, making it more efficient in energy, travel and transfer, resulting in higher ball speed.
The X3 White Tie is the second part of the three part series of the new Matrix Flighting System, with the final structure being released at the PGA Show in January.
“The OZIK X3 had a great introduction on tour earlier this year and I am very pleased with the final product,” said Director of Tour Operations, Joe Miera. “We have seen such success on tour with the release of the OZIK M3 Black Tie earlier this year that I am only confident that we will continue to see great things in 2013 as we complete the new flight system.”
