BELLINGHAM, Washington – Aerotech Golf announces that its SteelFiber composite iron shafts won a share of the top money on the European Tour this weekend. SteelFiber i95 shafts collected a solo seventh-place at the UBS Hong Kong Open and continues to be the No. 1 composite iron shaft on the pro tours.
SteelFiber shafts set new company records during this 2012 PGA TOUR season. In addition to their second-straight Ryder Cup appearance, SteelFiber shafts won the 2012 FedEx Cup title, the TOUR Championship, The Players Championship and the Farmers Insurance Open and collected 21 Top 10 finishes on the PGA and Champions Tours.
At this weekend’s UBS Hong Kong Open, the 12-year pro from Sea Island, Ga., shot a 9-under-par 271 (69-69-66-67) playing SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons. He finished with sole posssesion of seventh place.
