New Program Encourages Local Las Vegas-Area Residents To Donate “Toys Fore Golf”
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – OB Sports Golf Management’s Las Vegas golf facilities announced a new program-Toys Fore Golf-that encourages local Las Vegas-area golfers to donate unwrapped toys in exchange for preferred green fees. Toys will be donated to HELP of Southern Nevada a local community resource that provides a number of programs ranging from Family Services, Homeless Services to Emergency Resource Services. Five local golf facilities are participating in the program. Angel Park Golf Club and The Legacy Golf Club are offering 18 holes of golf for $40 valid Monday – Thursday and $45 valid Friday – Sunday. Stallion Mountain Golf Club is offering a 4 players for $100 bounce-back gift certificate valid for green fees upon the golfer’s next visit to the club. Las Vegas Golf Club is offering a $35 rate that includes golf cart or a $25 rate for those who’d rather walk. And Painted Desert Golf Club is offering a $49 rate before 11am and $29 after 11am. Additional toy donations gathered at Painted Desert Golf Club will be donated to local Toy For Tots efforts.
“The Toy’s Fore Golf program allows golfers to save a few bucks doing what they love to do, while giving back to those who need a boost during the holiday season,” said Greg Brockelman, Director of Golf at Angel Park Golf Club. “The game of golf in general has a long tradition of giving. This is just a humble example of one way we’re trying to uphold the spirit of that tradition.”
The special offer is valid 11/23/12 through 12/20/12 for Nevada residents. Golfers may make reservations or learn more online at each club’s webpage dedicated to Toys Fore Golf.
