Donate canned food item or new toy for 25% off green fee; save $25 on golf academy lessons
(SYLACAUGA, Ala.) – FarmLinks at Pursell Farms – the renowned boutique resort located less than one hour from Birmingham – is offering a holiday savings of 25% off green fees at the highly acclaimed golf course when guests donate a canned food item or new toy.
“The Pursell Family embraces opportunities to support people, and this allows our golfers to help children and families who are in need,” said Director of Golf Terry Davis, Jr., PGA.
The 25% savings is applied to the winter, 18-hole rate of $75 that includes a cart and unlimited use of the expansive practice facility, or on the all-inclusive price of $135, which includes all-you-can-play-golf, lunch, cart, use of the practice facility, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The offer is good until Dec. 31, 2012 and may not be combined with any other specials. Guests can bring as many canned, non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped gifts as they desire.
Providing a challenging mix of dramatic elevation changes, mountain vistas and lakes spread across 3,500 bucolic acres, FarmLinks has been ranked the No. 1 public-access course in Alabama (Golfweek, 2011) and was on Golf Digest’s list of the “75 Best Golf Resorts in North America.”
The new FarmLinks Golf Academy was unveiled last spring, led by professional instructor Layne Savoie. Through Dec. 31, the Academy is offering One-Hour Individual Lesson Gift Cards for $125, a $25 savings off the regular price. All lessons with Savoie feature state-of-the-art TrackMan III and video swing analysis.
