DALLAS – Eagle Golf has reached an agreement with the city of Thousand Oaks, Calif., to manage concessions for the city’s Civic Arts Plaza, a popular concert and shopping destination for residents. Eagle Golf was offered the opportunity based on its existing relationship with Los Robles Greens golf course, which Eagle Golf has managed for the city since 2003.
“Eagle Golf has been a great partner with us at Los Robles Greens, so we reached out to them when the previous concessionaire at the Civic Arts Plaza opted to cease operations,” said John Adams, Finance Director for the city. “The hospitality at the golf course has been exceptional, and we are confident that Eagle Golf will carry that service over to the concert venue.”
The management of the Civic Arts Plaza represents an expansion of the company’s services outside of the golf industry.
“We have a tremendous relationship with the city of Thousand Oaks, and we’re more than happy to serve the city in an additional capacity,” said Joe Munsch, President of Eagle Golf. “One of our guiding principles at Eagle Golf is Radical Hospitality, and that includes stepping up to assist a partner in any way possible. We’ll apply the same level of service and quality that residents have experienced at Los Robles. ”
Eagle Golf has been in operation for more than 28 years. Based in Dallas, the company provides a full suite of golf course management services to 30 golf courses located in major metropolitan areas in seven states. Eagle Golf’s portfolio includes seven private country clubs and 23 properties classified as premium or moderately priced daily fee courses. More than three million rounds of golf are played at Eagle Golf courses each year, making up almost one percent of the total rounds played in the United States every year.
