PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management is proud to announce four of its professional faculty members have earned Instructor Certification for the Impact Zone™ Golf program, one of golf’s most comprehensive teaching systems.
PGA Master Professional and Program Director Brian Hughes; PGA Master Professional David Wixson; PGA Professional Certified in Instruction and Golf Operations Frank Longabucco; and PGA Member and Golf Magazine Top 100 Adjunct Instructor John Callahan received Impact Zone Golf Instructor Certifications, and will provide IZG instruction at the Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management.
“Impact Zone Golf is a comprehensive teaching program which focuses on five unique swing dynamics, specialized drills and personal instruction, and we’re very proud of our faculty members who have achieved IZG certification,” says Keiser University College of Golf Executive Director of Golf Operations Dr. Eric Wilson, who is a PGA Master Professional. “By making optional teaching methods, such as Impact Zone Golf, available to our students at Keiser University College of Golf & Sport Management, we can provide them with a stronger academic foundation and a more complete skill set for when they enter the job market.”
Founded by PGA TOUR veteran and CBS Sports commentator Bobby Clampett, the Impact Zone Golf system addresses what Clampett considers the five key facets of golf – dynamics, style, knowledge, fitness and health, and mental. Engaging all five of these facets creates a holistic teaching approach, which leads to the most enjoyment and improvement and the best results.
