Free live golf scorecard app Golf GameBook has made significant steps forward during the last month: GameBook’s Android app was the most downloaded app on Samsung App’s Sports category. In Australia GameBook’s iPhone app has climbed inside the top ten of the most downloaded sports app’s in the App Store and has stayed there since then. At the same time, GameBook has steadily moved up in the US App Store.
Golf GameBook’s global popularity has growth fast during the last month. In mid-December GameBook climbed to first place on Samsung Apps Featured applications list globally, which was again one significant example of GameBook’s huge global potential: the position hasn’t been reached by any other golf app before. This top spot spawned great success as the number of Golf GameBook app users has increased exponentially.
GameBook has been the most downloaded sports app during the last month on Samsung Apps in over ten different countries (in the USA, United Kingdom, Sweden and South Africa) and inside the top 3 in almost 30 different countries.
“These rankings are the result of our hard work and we can be very proud of this achievement. The golf season is now at its best for example in Australia, New Zeland and in the southern states of USA. We are developing our app continuosly and want to serve only the best for the demanding golf demographic! Australian Golfers found Golf GameBook
With over a million golfers, the Australian golf market is one of the world’s strongest. When the high season started in November, Golf GameBook’s iPhone app climbed rapidly to top ten in Australian App Store’s Sports category and has stayed there since that. During the holiday season GameBook was in second place for several days in a row, right after Cricker app.
“We noticed a significant increase in our download and user numbers right after the high season started in Australia. Australia is one of the world’s biggest golf markets and it has been great to see how enthusiatic and active Australian golfers are. Feedback has been unbeliveably good and users have been very satisfied with our live scoring service. And the fact that our iPhone app is moving up the rankings also in the United States gives us more confidence for a successful year 2013”, says Mr. Vainola.
