NORWALK, Conn. – PGA Golf Exhibitions and Golf Pride grips today announced the company’s plans to introduce exciting new products at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show. Golf Pride will return to the PGA Merchandise Show Outdoor Demo Day and within an exhibit on the Show floor to introduce a comprehensive lineup of its 2013 grips to more than 40,000 attending PGA Professionals and golf retailers from around the world.

During the PGA Merchandise Show Outdoor Demo Day, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Orlando, Golf Pride, the official grip of the Long Drivers Association (LDA) Tour, will host some the top names in long driving in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for ball speed. LDA titans Tim Burke, Eric Lastowka, and Ryan Winther will be on hand to compete for the honor of fastest driver ball speed ever recorded. The attempts will take place beginning at 1 p.m.
From Thursday, Jan. 24 through Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Orange County Convention Center, the Golf Pride brand will exhibit in the equipment hall with an exciting display of their latest grips, and will play host to two of the biggest names in golf instruction in its booth – David Leadbetter and Michael Breed. • Thursday, Jan. 24 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. – Michael Breed
• Thursday, Jan. 24 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – David Leadbetter
• Friday, Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. – Noon – David Leadbetter
Some 1,000 golf vendors, representing every business sector of golf from all the golf market leaders to start-up companies, will display and demonstrate hundreds of thousands of golf merchandise that will appear in golf shops and retail stores throughout the 2013 golf season.
