NORWALK, Conn. – Inventors of new golf training or teaching aids, accessories and equipment will be able to gauge the interest of some 40,000 attending golf industry professionals from around the world at the Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion during the 60th PGA Merchandise Show, January 24-26, 2013, in Orlando, Fla.
Organized in partnership with the United Inventors Association (UIA) and InventionHome, the Inventor’s Spotlight pavilion on the Show floor will showcase golf inventions not yet available at retail. During the PGA Merchandise Show Week, UIA and InventionHome will award top inventors with one of three awards: Most Innovative Concept, Best Manufacturing Analysis, and the Pinnacle Award for the broadest range of successful development efforts. Judging will be conducted by UIA and InventionHome experts, who will be in attendance throughout the Show to answer inventor questions associated with taking an idea to the development, patenting, production and golf-distribution stage.
The 2012 Inventor’s Spotlight winners were Score Band for Best Product Concept, a multi-sport score keeping wristband now located on the PGA Show main exhibit floor in booth #1610., and Integrity Analysis SwingProfile, a golf swing and analysis app, for Best Market Research & Best Overall Product.
