LAKE MARY, FL (Jan. 15, 2013) – LPGA Tour star Paula Creamer will be the guest speaker following the 20th Annual ING Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference at the PGA Merchandise Show. The awards program begins at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, the second day of the PGA Show in Orlando. It will take place in ClubING, Room 309A of the Orange County Convention Center.

The International Network Of Golf is a non-profit, media-based networking organization whose mission since 1990 has been to enhance and promote communication and education in golf. Membership is open to anyone in the golf industry, related industries and media. “ING is where media and the golf industry connect.”

The ING Industry Honors recognizes outstanding achievement in a dozen business-related categories, such as product ingenuity, TV commercial, print advertising and player development. Nominations are collected throughout the year until October 10. Sub-committees trim the nominees to the top three in each category. Winners are then determined by vote of the ING membership. Nominees will be recognized and winners announced at the January 25th presentation. A complete list of nominees is at the bottom of this article.

Creamer is currently ranked No. 12 in the Rolex World Rankings. She has nine victories, including a U.S. Open title, in her eight years on the LPGA Tour, with over $9.5 million in earnings. The strength of her game is accuracy off the tee and consistency with her irons.

Creamer is one of the most popular players on the LPGA Tour, and is also considered among the most stylish. The TaylorMade-adidas Golf-sponsored Creamer is a familiar face when it comes to TV commercials for the various products she represents.

ING exists to bring golf media together with representatives from all walks of the golf industry to introduce new products, discuss issues, exchange information and improve communication. The group, which was formed 23 years ago, hosts the annual ING Spring Conference, scheduled this year at Reunion Resort in Orlando May 19-23. Educational seminars, product testing, an appointment show and networking opportunities highlight schedule.

The next gathering for ING is at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Jan. 24-26, 2013. ClubING (Room 309) will be open all day for members and their guests, with morning coffee, Happy Hour cocktail parties with celebrity guests and entertainment, and prizes and giveaways.
