(Orlando, FLA) – Volvik, the #1 Color Golf Ball On Tour, announced today the signing of LPGA Tour player Victoria Elizabeth to a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old Elizabeth finished 3rd on the final Symetra Tour money list with $46,565, securing her 2013 LPGA Tour card. She used a Volvik 4-piece Vista golf ball all season and ended the season with two runner-up positions and five Top 10 finishes. After two years on the Symetra Tour finishing 42nd in 2011 and 69th in 2010, Elizabeth propelled to the No. 3 position and her best ever stats after making the switch to the Volvik golf ball.
“My whole life I’ve dreamt of playing on the LPGA Tour,” said Elizabeth. “To have finally made it after three years of being a professional is a truly incredible feeling. I am so grateful for the opportunity I’ve had of playing on the Symetra Tour, growing my game, and earning my LPGA Tour card. I am really looking forward to everything the LPGA and 2013 has to bring.”
The Dayton, Ohio native spent a total of 12 weeks inside the Volvik Race for the Card Top 10 and held the No. 2 and No. 3 spots for a total of eight weeks on the 2012 Symetra Tour. Elizabeth finished in the Top 10 on the Symetra Tour in five statistical categories including fifth in GIR (Greens In Regulation) (73%), seventh in rounds under par, eighth in scoring average (72.35), and tenth in driving accuracy (81%) and birdies . Previous to her Symetra Tour career, Elizabeth earned four victories on the AJGA, won seven times on the Future Collegians World Tour and was the FCWT Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008.
“I am so excited to have made it onto the LPGA and I can’t wait to start my rookie year in 2013,” Elizabeth said. “Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamt of being on the LPGA. Words cannot express how amazing it feels to have reached the highest level of women’s golf and play with the best players in the world.”
