January 21, 2013. PGA Show, Orlando, Florida – After a strong finish to the 2012 season as the winning driver shaft of the FedEx Cup Champion, Fujikura is continuing its success on the 2013 PGA Tour with a Fuel win right out of the gate at the Hyundai Open and Darrell Survey has just confirmed Fujikura as the #1 Wood Shaft at The Humana Challenge last weekend.

Additionally, in the first event of the Champions tour at Mitsubishi Championship at Hualalai, the winner used Fujikura in all of his woods to capture the title. The Champion won with a Taylormade R1 driver with Motore Speeder VC 7.2, three metal-RBZ with Motore Speeder 8.1, plus a hybrid RBZ with Motore F3.

Dave Schnider, Fujikura President and Chief Operations Officer, commented on the company’s success, “We are honored to see our shafts as the preferred choice amongst PGA Tour and Champions Tour players. It is a very exciting time for Fujikura with the release of our new Fuel shaft and the rest of our 2013 products. We are looking forward to everyone testing our products here at the PGA Merchandising Show.”

Fujikura has consistently earned the title of the “Winningest shaft in tour history” with their Motore Speeder product line. This year, they have expanded upon this winning reputation with the launch of the Fuel shaft. The Fuel has improved upon the low launch, low spin category of driver shaft which has risen in popularity in recent years. Players consistently report a great feel with increased accuracy, which has contributed to the early success of Fuel on the PGA Tour.
