PGA Tour champion rolls out his revolutionary approach to teaching on new 4-DVD set and for computer/smartphone download
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2013) – “The Impact Zone Training System by Impact Zone Golf,” the innovative approach to golf instruction created by acclaimed PGA Tour winner and popular television golf analyst Bobby Clampett, will celebrate its official launch at the annual PGA Merchandise Show this week in Orlando.
Now available in a specially packaged DVD set, as well as an online downloadable product, “The Impact Zone Training System by Impact Zone Golf” is a transformational system of learning and teaching golf – which has flourished around the success of Clampett’s book, “The Impact Zone.”
In his inaugural appearance at the PGA Show, Clampett will be making four special presentations over three days at Booth # 1814:
• 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24: “What is Impact-Based Teaching, And How It Differs From Other Instruction”
• 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25: “How The Best Players In The Game Describe Impact and The Five Dynamics Of Impact”
• 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25: “What is Impact-Based Teaching, And How It Differs From Other Instruction”
• 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26: “How The Best Players In The Game Describe Impact and The Five Dynamics Of Impact”
Clampett, soon to begin his fourth season on the Champions Tour, founded Impact Zone Golf in 2009 largely in response to golf professionals who wanted to teach the system, as well as golfers who inquired about taking lessons, based on what they learned in the book.
“My goal is that with the book, the DVDs and our certified instructors, we will reach golfers around the world to improve their game faster than ever before,” Clampett said.
“The Impact Zone Training System” completely changes the way golfers and instructors perceive and interpret each golfer’s swing. Clampett challenges the widely accepted theory of golf instruction that is too concerned with a golfer’s swing style, while overlooking its results and effectiveness. “Impact-based” instruction puts the emphasis where it should be, Clampett professes: on consistently good shots and lower scores.
Using the examples of great ball-strikers through the years – such as Lee Trevino, Corey Pavin, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson – Clampett explains why the only truly important concept is impact. And he teaches all golfers, regardless of skill or handicap, how to improve their impact until it is consistent – and consistently good.
