Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel opens new signature restaurant, center bar area
(WORLEY, ID) – Circling Raven Golf Club – located in the scenic Idaho panhandle, adjacent to the recently expanded Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel – has been named to Golf Digest’s biennial “America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses 2013-2014” list.
Circling Raven ranked No. 7 on the “Best in State” list among all public and private courses in Idaho and was No. 96 overall. Golf Digest panelists score courses on seven criteria, including memorability, design variety and conditioning. The honor comes on the heels of Circling Raven being ranked No. 22 on Golfweek’s “Best Casino Courses in the U.S.” list in December.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Golf Digest as a top course in America,” said Circling Raven Director of Golf Tom Davidson, PGA. “This critical judgment is a testament to the quality of the golf course and the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort, which continually strives to improve the overall experience for our golfers and resort guests.”
The Gene Bates design, set on 620 acres within an easy ride from Spokane International Airport, has earned multiple “Best-Of” awards from prominent national magazines since opening in 2003.
Circling Raven is one of numerous amenities at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel, which is owned and operated by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and completed a massive expansion in 2011 that included the unveiling of Spa Ssakwa’q’n, a 15,000-square-foot, full-service venue, and nearly 100 opulent guest rooms.
Within the last two months, the resort also introduced two new dining options: Chinook Steak, Pasta & Spirits, which uses all local ingredients for its prime beef, homemade pasta and pizza, and Red Tail Bar and Grill, the center bar area featuring menu items reflecting the region and a glowing fire that creates a soothing ambiance.
