IRVINE, CA – January 21, 2013 – FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in wedge and iron design with over 48 professional tour victories, announced today that its Tour Utility Iron was used by a top-ten finisher at the Humana Challenge in La Quinta, CA.

“FOURTEEN GOLF has made a name for itself on the PGA Tour with our tour inspired high performance wedges but lately our Tour Utility Iron has been getting a lot of play, with three top ten finishes in a row,” according to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda. “At the Humana Challenge, a talented PGA Professional used our Tour Utility Iron on his way to four consecutive rounds in the 60’s and an impressive top-ten finish.”

FOURTEEN GOLF designs product inspired by the professional and the FOURTEEN GOLF Utility Iron is proof of that. It hits long shots tight to the pin. Every week the Touring Professionals play incredibly difficult golf courses and need distance as well as pinpoint accuracy. For the consumer, FOURTEEN GOLF developed the Hi-610s T.S. based on these performance characteristics.

A hollow structured head produces the distance of a fairway wood with the accuracy of an iron. They look easy to hit and in fact, they are. A deep and lower CG provides control as well as stability. It allows the skilled golfer to select the smallest of targets and precisely get there.

“The HI-610h T.S. Utility Irons set up beautifully on any type of lie because of the exclusive proprietary sole design. These tour inspired utility irons give powerful hitters the confidence to aim it right at the pin,” added Kamoda.

The Hi-610h T.S. features a relatively small club head size. The idea was to maintain the appearance of a traditional iron while managing to produce a club that will allow golfers to hit solidly out of any rough. There are three Hi-610h T.S. Utility Irons to choose from, a #2, #3, and #4. For more information and specifications on these unique irons, visit the FOURTEEN GOLF website at www.fourteengolf.com.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. The company proudly announced the addition of PGA Professional John Mallinger to the FOURTEEN GOLF Professional Staff in January of 2013. He will play the RM Series Wedges as well as wear a FOURTEEN GOLF cap. His staff bag, head covers, umbrella and towel will all display the FOURTEEN GOLF logo.

Last year, FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
