Third win in three weeks for R1 driver; Available 2/1 at retail
CARLSBAD, CALIF (January 20, 2013) – TaylorMade Golf’s new R1 driver is off to a sizzling start in 2013. Less than two weeks from its global availability at retail, the revolutionary club has notched three wins, including two of the first three events on the PGA Tour.
Today, Brian Gay emerged victoriously from a three-man playoff in La Quinta to win the Humana Challenge, while John Cook rallied to win the Champions Tour’s Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai.
Both players needed two extra playoff holes to seal their wins. They also played the R1, a driver that features a visually striking crown graphic and is TaylorMade’s most adjustable driver ever. Click here to learn more.
