Mobile Warming Gear Goes Next Gen

January 23, 2013

(Milwaukee, WI) – Mobile Warming Gear – the world’s leading maker of heated golf outerwear – will showcase a broad range of next-generation products for Fall/Winter 2013 alongside its existing line of vests and jackets at the PGA Merchandise Show, Booth 5080, January 24-26 in Orlando, FL.

These latest offerings continue to increase cold-weather playing opportunities by combining advanced performance materials with proprietary heating technology first pioneered by NASA. Powered by a small, rechargeable lithium ion battery, the new, USGA-conforming vests (MSRP $169.99) and jackets ($209.99) now feature a power switch on the outside of each garment. Located near the collar for men and waist for women, this nickel-sized button illuminates when activated while changing colors as players toggle between the four heat settings.

Designed by PGA Professionals, Mobile Warming garments feature a system of micro-alloy heating elements built into the back and chest area. These completely eliminate the need for extra layers while keeping muscles loose in all conditions. Offered in waterproof or windproof/water-resistant options for men and women, each piece also boasts:

Golf-specific construction

Four-way stretch for complete freedom of movement

Breathable, washable performance materials

Velcro cuffs and/or a hem cinch cord for easy adjustment

“As our product line continues to expand and evolve, the focus remains on enhancing comfort and convenience for players of all abilities,” says Keith Apple, General Manager of Mobile Warming Golf. “We’re confident these latest developments will contribute to their enjoying the game more, which in turn help improve a club’s bottom line.”

Recently heralded by Discovery Channel, Forbes, Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, USA Today, LINKS, PGA Magazine, The Weather Channel and many other independent sources, the Mobile Warming system is ideal for use on and off the course. It provides heat at the push of a button while ensuring comfort for up to 10 hours.
