Atlanta – Chase54 will debut its new spring and summer collection of golf apparel on Jan. 24-26, at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla. Not only will the Atlanta-based apparel company debut its new line at the show in Booth 3485, but this will be Chase54’s first time at the international event.
“We’re excited about heading to Orlando and showing the golf community our latest innovations and styles,” said Chase54 Brand Director Mike Hammontree. “We believe you don’t have to sacrifice fashion for performance, style for functionality and looking sharp for being comfortable, and we believe our new clothing line stays true to those values.”
The goal for Chase54, Hammontree said, is to offer golfers state of the art fabrics, thoughtful designs and fresh styles at affordable prices. These new fabrics and technologies serve as the foundation for Chase54’s spring and summer collections:
DryFuse Fabric Technology utilizes a weave process that produces the fastest moisture wicking fabric known to garment makers. The underside of the DryFuse fabric comes in contact with the skin and sweat, absorbing any moisture and forcing it away from the body, while the fabric surface pulls that moisture to the surface and wicks the moisture, allowing for faster evaporation.
Moistex is made from recovered cotton waste, which is knitted on the underside of the fabric for a cool feel and soft touch. A moisture wicking yarn is used on the fabric surface, which moves sweat away from the body.
Coffee Yarn Fabrics are eco-friendly and sustainable, derived from 36 percent recycled coffee grounds blended with 64 percent polyester. Coffee yarn fabrics absorb odors naturally and offer UV protection and moisture wicking properties, with an enhanced breathability and dryness from the pique weave.
In addition to the cutting edge fabric technology that runs throughout all of the Chase54 products, achieving functionality and practicality for the average golfer was a key part of the design process. All of the shirts include removable collar stays, ensuring the collar looks crisp and sharp throughout the day. Waterproof pockets in all shorts and pants provide protection to keep scorecards, wallets and yardage books dry, but also can accommodate a wet cloth for caddies and golfers who need to clean their clubs during the round.
While the name may be new, the team behind Chase54 has deep roots in and strong connections to the apparel business with more than 30 years of experience and 400 million produced garments backing the brand. The manufacturer is world renowned for their innovations in fabric and quality production, while also being a top producer to many well-known retailers.
