PHILADELPHIA — (January 23, 2013) – The new Traveling Golfer series of video features from golf destinations around the world, will debut on a large, and rapidly growing, network of golf websites beginning February 1.
Responding to golfers’ never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world, well-traveled host Tony Leodora will be taking viewers on video golf trips to some of the most exciting golf locations.
“The number one question asked by golfers, as I make my way around the world of golf, always has to do with new and interesting golf courses and golf destinations,” explains Leodora. “People are always looking for the next new challenge or the next scenic layout that will create a new golf memory.
“I have been fortunate enough to play more than 750 different golf courses — in 35 states and Puerto Rico, and 15 different countries. The allure of playing golf on the road never gets old. It is part of the intoxicating attraction of the game of golf. Our goal is to transfer a bit of that excitement to other golfers through these videos.”
The Traveling Golfer will appear as a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 13 years experience in televised golf shows. The featured destination will stay on the website for one month, before being replaced by a new show.
A network of golf websites, of all sizes, is being created to host the new golf show. The show will have its own website — www.travelinggolfervideo.com. The network of additional websites includes www.golftalklive.net, the website of the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show that also is hosted by Leodora. Some of the other early sites to agree to host the Traveling Golfer are www.myphillygolf.com, www.sportsnetwork.com, www.louguzzi.com, www.yetigolf.com, www.golfbuckscounty.com and www.xpressgolf72.com.
“Those are just the first wave of websites that have agreed to host our show,” explains Leodora. “We are acquiring others quickly and a complete list will be published soon.”
Initially, the network of Traveling Golfer host websites will reach more than 100,000 monthly visitors. Additional websites will be added after qualifying interviews.
