Philadelphia, PA (January 28, 2013) – It was announced at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando that The GolfTalk Live radio show has been honored again by the International Network of Golf, receiving the award for Outstanding Achievement in the Radio Show Category.
It was the sixth year in a row that GolfTalk Live received some type of recognition at the PGA Merchandise Show. In three of those years it was voted the No. 1 Golf Radio Show in America.
In addition Leodora also received the Outstanding Achievement award in the Equipment Writing Category for his article “Mellow Yellow-Quite Right” in GolfStyles Magazine. He was the only one to receive awards in two different categories.
ING is the leading media/business organization in the golf industry. The awards were presented before a large crowd of golf media and industry leaders.
“It’s a great honor to be chosen again from among so many great golf radio shows that have sprung up in the last few years,” said show host Tony Leodora. “The competition continues to get better, but apparently, so does our show, that is because of the team that we have built around our interesting interview style of radio.”
The GolfTalk Live radio show, hosted by Tony Leodora went into syndication in 2013. The show airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on flagship station WNTP 990-AM in Philadelphia. It airs at different times on Saturday on the affiliate stations. GolfTalk Live also can be heard any time following each show on its official website, www.golftalklive.net.
