BRONX, NY (January 31, 2013) – The First Tee of Metropolitan New York (TFTMNY) is excited to announce a partnership with Golf Genius Software as the Chapter’s official golf software provider, incorporating the company’s GolfLeagueGenius product throughout its network of facilities.
GolfLeagueGenius will handle the youth development organization’s event registration, pairings, scoring and more; with everything available to participants on a custom website, providing a safe and interactive experience to view results, photos and engage with other participants. Through its commitment to growing the game, Golf Genius Software is providing these services to TFTMNY and all potential First Tee partner Chapters free of charge, for life.

TFTMNY positively impacts the lives of more than 5,000 young people at six Facilities and fourteen Affiliates throughout New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, and Fairfield County, CT. The First Tee provides educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Programs include group golf instruction, mentoring, community outreach, SAT tutoring, college workshops and girls-only opportunities.
TFTMNY’s Facility at Fairchild Wheeler in Connecticut piloted the program by beta testing GolfLeagueGenius in 2012, and the Chapter is now excited to launch the use of the program at other locations throughout the Metropolitan New York area.

Participants in The First Tee program have also had a positive experience with GolfLeagueGenius and expect to use the software in an even greater capacity during the 2013 season.
