PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 1, 2013)- The new Traveling Golfer show debuted today (February 1) with a show from Mystic Dunes Resort in Orlando, FL.
The show from Mystic Dunes is the first in a series of monthly shows hosted by Tony Leodora, an award-winning golf writer and broadcaster who also has 13 years experience in televised golf shows. On his first stop Leodora shows viewers why Mystic Dunes Resort has something for everyone. Whether it’s the four amenity pools, the luxury accommodations, or the unique and challenging golf course, Leodora explores it all in the debut show.
The idea behind the show comes from never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world. The well-traveled Leodora will take viewers on video trips to some of the most exciting golf locations. Viewers will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from knowledgeable representatives at each destination and get an inside look at some of the best places to stay and play, both near and far.
“Golf travel has always been the most exciting part of the game for me,” said Leodora. “I have played more than 725 golf courses around the world. I constantly get asked by golfers everywhere about exciting places to play. Now I can show them.”
The Traveling Golfer airs on its home site– www.travelinggolfervideo.com as well as a network of affiliate websites, which continues to grow and will soon be announced. Initially, the network of Traveling Golfer host websites will reach more than 100,000 monthly visitors.
“We are always open to interesting and well-produced programming,” said Phil Sokol, director of operations for The Sports Network, a founding website on the Traveling Golfer Network. “In addition to providing golf programming to our website visitors, I look forward to the shows as an avid and traveling golfer who will use the information. This definitely enhances our golf coverage.”
The second show, scheduled to air during March, will feature “Tony’s Top Ten” products from the PGA Merchandise Show. Leodora will take viewers around the miles of aisles at the PGA Show and talk with representatives about why their products made “Tony’s Top Ten.”
