LAKE MARY, FL – The International Network of Golf’s membership incentive program, PLUS ONE, returns for a second year with a very special grand prize. One attendee at the 23rd Annual ING Spring Conference will leave with a golf vacation for two at America’s most historic golf destination, Pinehurst Resort in the Sandhills of North Carolina.
Beautiful Reunion Resort in Orlando will host this year’s annual gathering of golf media and industry leaders, set for May 19-23, 2013. The non-profit International Network of Golf is the industry’s only media-based networking organization. ING is “where the media and golf industry connect.” Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to join and attend.
The PLUS ONE program’s goal is to increase attendance at the conference. ING members who sign up new attendees and companies are credited with points: 4 points for each individual attendee registered by the member, 7 points for signing up an Appointment Show exhibitor, and 9 points for bringing in a Demo Lab and Appointment Show exhibitor.
Every ING member who participates in the program by signing up at least one new attendee will receive a gift and be recognized at the conference’s Tuesday Night banquet. The member who totals the most points receives a four-day, 3-night vacation at Pinehurst Resort, including two rounds of golf and daily breakfast for both. Also the winner will receive a $150 travel voucher, a golf shirt and a Walking Tour Book from the Pinehurst, Southern Pines Aberdeen CVB.
Pinehurst Resort has hosted more championships than any other golf club in the country, and in 2014 will become the first to host the U.S. Open and Women’s U.S. Open in the same year. Along with eight championship courses, Pinehurst Resort features a world-class spa, tennis, family activities and more. Plus, the historic Pinehurst Village is within walking distance of the resort.
The 2013 ING Spring Conference will welcome approximately 160 people from all walks of the golf industry and media. The popular One-On-One Appointment Show has been expanded to two days, and the educational format has been revised to feature more customized choices.
Approximately 20 companies are expected to display their products for testing in the Demo Lab. There will also be golf events, including the World Golfers Amateur Tour National Qualifier, and the 6th Annual Durland Cup Scramble.
Reunion Resort is located only 25 minutes southwest of the Orlando International Airport, and is part of the newly established Grand Golf Resorts of Florida – a Salamander Collection – along with 2011 ING host Innisbrook Resort near Tampa and Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast.
Along with the three diverse golf courses by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, Reunion is also home to the ANNIKA Academy of Annika Sorenstam, and the Frankly Putting PAD of Frank Thomas.
ING attendees will be treated to the incredible 3-bedroom villas for their accommodations. The villas average approximately 2,200 square feet. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and TV, and shares a spacious and well-appointed living room and kitchen with the other two bedrooms. Each villa also features a balcony and flat-screen TVs.
The ING Conference is open to everyone in the golf industry and media. For more information, visit www.inggolf.com. For more information regarding Reunion Resort, visit www.reunionresort.com.
