In addition to giving back, Bogey’s Mission is to get kids playing golf, reading and having fun!

Denver, CO – Scooter Pines Holdings, LLC (SPH) and its publishing division, Scooter Pines Publishing, is pleased to announce the main character in their children’s book series, Bogey Ballton, has bounced his way across the country from the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Florida to Colorado where he will be welcoming attendees to the Denver Merchandise Mart for the 20th Anniversary Denver Golf Expo this weekend, February 8th-10th.
Also in attendance will be Dottie Pepper, former No. 1 ranked female golfer in the world, broadcaster for NBC Sports, co-author of the Bogey children’s book series, and the USA Solheim Cup Assistant Captain. Pepper, along with USA Solheim Cup Captain, Meg Mallon, will be on hand for a Q and A this Friday, February 8th at 11am to generate local excitement and awareness for the Solheim Cup matches at Colorado Golf Club in Parker August 13-18.
The Denver Golf Expo, which is becoming one of the top consumer golf expos in the country, is strongly supported by the Colorado Section of the PGA, the Colorado Golf Association, the Colorado Junior Golf Association, and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association. Eddie Ainsworth, Executive Director of the PGA Colorado Section, thought having Dottie and the Bogey mascot together for this anniversary event was a winning combination. Ainsworth commented, “anything we can do to add excitement and fun to the game will help attract kids and families to golf.” Ainsworth added, “that is why we are thrilled to have Dottie Pepper and Bogey at this year’s Denver Golf Expo.”
A portion of the Bogey Tees Off book sales proceeds which will be available for purchase at the Expo will go to help fund Junior Golf initiatives by the PGA Colorado Section.
