New service opens Grand Strand to thousands of coast-to-coast Canadian travelers
(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) — Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday — the Grand Strand’s golf marketing cooperative –announces Canada-based WestJet will offer new nonstop service from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) starting May 2.
Operating one of the youngest fleets of Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft and strategically timed to connect with 98% of its Canadian coast-to-coast operations at YYZ, the low cost carrier will fly to the Grand Strand twice-weekly departing at 9:30 a.m. with MYR arrival at 11:35 a.m., leaving plenty of time for same day play on the area’s 100-plus golf courses.
