Parker comes to Patriots Point from another Affiniti Golf-managed property, Forest Hills Golf Club, the vintage 1926 Donald Ross design in Augusta, Ga. Parker served as general manager there for the last two years.
Patriots Point Links is a stunning harbor front golf course that looks across Charleston Harbor to historic downtown Charleston, Fort Sumter and Sullivan’s Island. The course’s three finishing holes chase along the shoreline and offer some of the most scenic golf in South Carolina.
Prior to Forest Hills, Parker was the golf professional at nearby Coosaw Creek Country Club in North Charleston, S.C. Previously he was head golf professional for four years at The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation, also nearby in Summerville, S.C.
A business administration graduate from Mercyhurst College, Parker is an accomplished golf competitor, having qualified for the Buick Challenge in 2003 and played in several Hooters Tour events in 2007. He, his wife Jolene and their two children live in Summerville, S.C.
