Private club in Illinois retains management company to streamline operations and stimulate community involvement
NORTHBROOK, Ill., Feb. 14, 2013 – KemperSports, the most trusted name in golf, today announced that it has been selected by the board of directors at Rockford Country Club to provide turnkey management of the private, member-owned club in Rockford, Ill. With this partnership, Rockford Country Club joins KemperCollection, KemperSports’ growing portfolio of private clubs.

To deliver high-quality and consistent service for members and guests, KemperSports will implement its proprietary customer service training program, TrueService. In addition, the company will promote a collaborative environment where member insights are welcomed and valued, and staff members are perceived as ambassadors of the club.

Rockford Country Club features an 18-hole, par-71 golf course overlooking the Rock River. The club was originally designed as a 9-hole course by Herbert James (H.J.) Tweedie in 1899. Today, more than 100 years later, Rockford Country Club includes an expansive clubhouse with a member grill, outdoor dining, banquet facilities, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and skeet house for skeet and trap shooting. The club also boasts a strong caddie program, the only one in the Rockford area, and is a supporter of the Evans Scholars Foundation.
