PHILADELPHIA — (March 1, 2013) – The new Traveling Golfer series of video features from golf destinations around the world airs its second episode of travel and lifestyles shows from Orlando, Florida. Most of the show was shot at the expansive PGA Merchandise Show, where the golf industry gathers every year to display all that is new in the game. More than 1,000 vendors displayed their products and services at the PGA Show.
After giving viewers a quick peak of the Orlando golf scene, Traveling Golfer host Tony Leodora presents his picks as the top ten items that caught his eye at the PGA Show. The assortment includes golf equipment, apparel and accessories. Known as “Tony’s Top Ten”, a feature he has been doing on radio, television and in magazines for a number of years, this look at what’s new in golf satisfies the curiosity of the viewers.
“I have been attending the PGA Merchandise Show for 22 years,” explains Leodora. “As soon as I get back, I am deluged with questions about the show. Everyone wants to know what is the newest and greatest product on the market. This show is a slight departure from the rest of our Traveling Golfer shows, but it promises to be one of the most interesting.”
Responding to golfers’ never-ending demands to learn more about interesting golf courses and golf resorts across the country and around the world, Leodora, the well-traveled host, takes viewers on video golf trips to some of the most exciting golf locations.
The Traveling Golfer appears as a series of monthly shows hosted by Leodora, who has 13 years experience in televised golf. The featured destination stays on the website for one month, before being replaced by a new show. Old shows are archived on the host website — www.travelinggolfervideo.com.
A network of golf websites has been created to host the new golf show. In addition to the home website, www.travelinggolfervideo.com, there is an ever-growing network of additional websites: www.myphillygolf.com, www.sportsnetwork.com, www.sheppardgolf.com, www.louguzzi.com, www.yetigolf.com, www.golfbuckscounty.com, www.phillygolffiles.com, www.playaroundgolf.com, www.awaywegogolf.com and www.xpressgolf72.com. That is the list of founding websites for the network. More will be added after qualifying interviews.
