Starting Time® Develops Golf Products For Seniors Or Handicapped Golfers

Beginning with the development of Starting Time’s sand and seed dispensers that were developed for walkers using pull carts or push carts, the light weight and easy access Fix with Mix® made it far easier for the golfer to take care of restoring their fairway divots. The dispensers were always close by and lighter in weight than the conventional heavy white bottles that were located on the motorized carts and often far away from the walkers. This was especially the case on Cart Path Only Days.

After that, the patented Fix Master® divot tool was developed and tested by Golf Test USA. It was found to be faster to use and faster in having the damaged ball mark heal. It was tested on both Bermuda Greens as well as Bent Grass greens, and this was true on both. The patented design of the divot tool allowed the golfer to easily attach it to the end of his or her putter and repair the ball mark without leaning over. Again, this was a big plus for Seniors or those with bad backs, that wanted to repair the ball marks easily and better. The repair tool remains securely in place and also has a ball marker in the cap that made the Fix Master an all-in-one tool. A copy of the report by Golf Test USA is available on our website http://www.startingtimegolf.com/fmdivot.html

Soon after those products were developed, Starting Time introduced the remarkable South American Tips Tees to the US Golfers. These tees were far longer lasting and also found an extra plus feature in that it was much easier to place the ball on top of the tee. This was due to the larger circular base than other tees on the market had. As golfers grow older, placing the ball on the tee becomes more difficult and time consuming. That, plus the added accuracy and length of the drive from a Tips Tee has made it a big favorite with golfers of all ages. Since the Tips come in three lengths it gives the golfer more options in the choice of which tee to use for different distances.

The interest in accessory tools for the senior golfers is really not just limited to them only. The very same reasons that seniors like them apply to younger players as well. They also like the convenience of the Fix with Mix dispensers. Nobody needs the extra effort of carrying a heavy sand bottle, especially walkers who carry their bags around 18 holes. Try it and see!
