Since 2010, the PGA of Canada has used TrackMan to analyze the impact conditions and resulting ball flight in golf
[ACTON, ONT.]-The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce it has renewed its partnership with one of the game’s leading technology brands, TrackMan.
Since 2010, the PGA of Canada has used TrackMan to analyze the impact conditions and resulting ball flight in golf. The system consistently provides accurate real-time data and graphics on ball launch, flight, and landing.
“We are very pleased that TrackMan is continuing its partnership with the PGA of Canada,” says PGA of Canada CEO, Gary Bernard. “TrackMan technology will continue to play an integral role for PGA of Canada Professionals and the way in which they teach, fit, play and practice,” adding, “and by integrating TrackMan research and data collection into our instruction and coaching curriculum streams, we significantly enhance our National Education Program.”
The PGA of Canada’s National Education Program will also use TrackMan technology in all coaching contexts, as well as begin to develop a consistent and common language for ball flight and club characteristics with the help of the radar technology and TrackMan’s latest IIIe model.
PGA of Canada National Learning Facilitators will also become TrackMan University certified.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the PGA of Canada and its National Education Program,” says, TrackMan’s Vice-President of Sales and Business Development, Matt Frelich. “The PGA of Canada is recognized as one of the world leaders in PGA Education and we know TrackMan will continue to help take its programs to the next level.”
TrackMan accurately tracks the club delivery; launch conditions, and entire ball flight. TrackMan has reliably tracked thousands of shots from the world’s best players. This has led to some of the biggest technological and theoretical breakthroughs in golf, including what many call “the New Ball Flight Laws” and the importance of Attack Angle in fitting and teaching, among others.
