NEW YORK – For the fifth consecutive year, NBC Sports and Golf Digest will team up to present The Golf Digest Equipment Insider, a look at the latest innovations in golf equipment, technology and fashion. The program will air on NBC on Sunday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET, prior to the Golf Central pre-game show that leads into the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The Golf Digest Equipment Insider will have new hosts in Golf Channel’s Holly Sonders and Gary Williams from the floor of the PGA Merchandise Show, and features insight from Golf Digest’s equipment editors Mike Stachura and Mike Johnson and fashion commentary from Golf Digest’s “Mr. Style,” Marty Hackel.
“Viewers will find this program both fun and informative,” said Golf Digest Companies Chairman & Editorial Director, Jerry Tarde. “The show reveals the latest technology in golf equipment as it expands on the information reported in the Golf Digest Hot List.”
The Golf Digest Equipment Insider takes viewers through the golf bag, from drivers to irons to wedges to putters to balls. The leaders in equipment research and development at all of the major manufacturers will discuss the new technology that aims to help golfers play better and enjoy the game more.
