Association of Golf Merchandisers awards Seaview with Platinum Award for Premier Golf Shops; Troon Golf recognizes Seaview as Most Improved Facility of the Year
GALLOWAY, N.J. – March 26, 2013 – Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf – A Dolce Resort, a Troon Golf-managed facility and one of the premier resort destinations in the Northeast, today announced that it has recently been honored with two prestigious golf awards.
The Golf Shop received a Platinum Award from the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM). A Platinum Award, which recognizes premier golf shops from the private, public, resort and off-course sectors, judges a facility based on its creative ideas, revenue-generating initiatives, promotions and visual displays.
“The Platinum Awards continues the tradition of Golf World’s 100 Best Golf Shops and the AGM’s Front Nine Awards by combining the two programs,” said Desane Blaney, AGM Executive Director. “We received a number of outstanding entries and the competition was very close this year.”
2013 marks the third consecutive year that the Golf Shop at Seaview has been recognized among the top golf shops in the country, having been named among America’s 100 Best Golf Shops by Golf World magazine in 2012 and 2011. In total, this is the 12th time that the shop has been named to this prestigious list.

Seaview demonstrated outstanding performance by increasing revenues and membership sales, and was chosen among all of Troon’s courses in the United States and Internationally.
