Experience custom club fitting like PGA Tour professionals
French Lick, IN – French Lick Resort, one of America’s leading golf resort destinations, announces that the French Lick Golf Academy featuring TaylorMade will open April 15 at the southern Indiana resort destination.
Located at a select number of golf facilities in the U.S., the French Lick Golf Academy will feature a TaylorMade club-fitting center allowing consumers the opportunity to demo and be custom fitted for TaylorMade clubs.
The teaching professionals at French Lick, who are now certified TaylorMade club-fitters, will put golfers through a comprehensive two-hour club-fitting experience that covers every club in the bag from driver to putter similar to what PGA Tour professionals go through with their equipment.
The French Lick Golf Academy with TaylorMade will feature the latest in computer swing technology including the Flight Scope X2 Doplar Radar for launch angle and ball flight monitoring, as well as the TOMI Putting System, which analyzes the putting stroke.
After a golfer and the swing have been captured, the club-fitter will analyze that information with launch monitor readings to determine the final choice in equipment and build a set of clubs and putter around the specific needs of each individual golf swing and stroke. This customized approach will allow golfers the opportunity to hit the ball longer and straighter with better control and improve their putting.
